Project Umbra
Project Umbra has been organising techno events for more than two years now. The beloved city of Groningen was the first place an Umbra techno night was held. With over 7 successful events under the belt the collective has shown to bring accessible, quality nightlife like no other.
Umbra represents the diversity of the electronic music genre and seeks to bring people together on the dancefloor regardless of gender, colour, age, or sexuality. Umbra has and will always aspire to showcase local talent and present a stage for all ambitious artists that are united in our shared values.
Community
Project Umbra is a student community-based collective, born with the ambition of giving the city of Groningen a safe, international space to share memories, talent, and the love for electronic music.
As we continue to grow, we are excited to be a platform for local artists as well as expanding our reach and working with international guests.
Affordable nightlife
Since our first event in April 2022, we have always consistently offered the opportunity to party affordably given the unequal socioeconomic status of our society. It's about freedom, acceptance, and the right to express oneself.
